Self-explanatory:
Canon: deals with events as they occured on Stargate Atlantis.
Open: the catch-all, anything goes verse. Mostly there for memes...
Some Explanation needed:

colonelinblack) and Dr. Rodney McKay (im_with_genius) are in a relationship, Dr. Carson Beckett (saltire_patch) and Lt. Laura Cadman (lt_justincase) are married and Dr. Radek Zelenka (mypoint_exactly) has a long lost daughter, Emilie (czech_em) but doesn't know it yet. Chuck (chuck_not_chet) is just the base's playboy gate technician. Who is currently (fake) dating Atlantis' Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jennifer Keller (suffers_vertigo).
Balcony: Spinoff/AU five years in the future of Citrus-free verse where Chuck and Dr. Keller (lantian_cmo) are in a quasi-committed relationship. And now he's gotten her pregnant... He's just getting used to the idea of having a baby and Jennifer wants them to get hitched. He's not too keen on that idea yet. This verse is pure crack (we all want to see him squirm!) and all are welcome to join in the speculation of what's going on five years down the line from Citrus-Free verse!
